Mayor’s Honor Roll—Peace Challenge

The following business have complete the required criteria and have been placed on the Mayor’s Honor Roll at Alexandria City Hall.

The mandatory criteria are mentioned below.  There also were a number of optional criteria that each company completed to be put on the Mayor’s Honor Roll.

The following criteria were mandatory for a business to complete before they were considered for the Mayor’s Honor Roll:  *A workplace policy regarding domestic abuse and harassment; *Employees participate in domestic abuse awareness training, *Display posters, brochures, and informational flyers about sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking and local services, *Develop a general safety plan for at risk employees and refer the employee to appropriate community resources.

There were also a number of optional criteria that they could choose from to complete the challenge.
